mmmm... green tea....
yesterday my parents came up to the college and hung out with me between classes... they had flown up thursday night to hang with me since parent's weekend was canceled last week due to the hurricane and all. so they woke me up by calling at 8:36 AM (why i remember the exact time i don't know), drove here and took me out to breakfast at IHOP, where i had an awesome bagel with cream cheese. not the small stale ones with unflavored butter in seacobeck. it found it amusing, however, that i'm able to last about four hours on a seacobeck bagel without being hungry, but i lasted about an hour after i ate that 'real' bagel. weird. real food goes right through me. :oP

so yeah, then i came back here for spanish, which kind of sucked cuz i was semi-late for class... (hey, my watch said 12 on the dot when i got there), and i forgot to do my homework, we had to make some family tree or something. alas. life goes on.

so after espanol my parents came once again and took natalie and i out to lunch at applebee's... we both got chicken fingers and they were yummy!! mozzerella sticks found their way in there too somehow... good stuff. came back for chemistry, had to break the news to graham that i can't go to the national zoo on sunday because kostya is convinced that working would be so much more exciting than seeing some goofy animals at the zoo... *sigh* guys just don't understand. after chem, i hung around here a bit, ate a chocolate pudding, and once again accompanied my parents in the car. we went downtown a bit, i showed them all the places we hang out, like goolrick's pharmacy, the little irish shop, the irish pub, ben franklin's, and cards and cones. once we were bored of that, we drove down to central park and bummed around borders and old navy before going to eat at the outback steakhouse. i got my sweet potato and i was happy. :0)

and i also opened a checking account yesterday! woo! put my paychecks in there... i'm making pretty good money, about 120 dollars every two weeks. not bad at all, in my opinion.

erm, so yeah, then i came back here, chilled with phil online a bit :O), and went next door to watch another buffy episode. then i took a shower, went to bed, and dreamed a weird dream. but maybe that'll come later.

current mood: good
