did someone say irish pub?
so yesterday my parents and i took a trip into dc. we drove in our little red hot rod rental car up to springfield, and caught the metro into the city. we got off at the smithsonian stop, walked around the air and space museum for a bit (my favorite! AIRPLANES RULE THE WORLD!!!!), and then grabbed some lunch at this little irish pub. i love irish pubs. they're so quaint. when they're not iffy. after that we ran around the american history museum for ten minutes before it closed; that was like the quickest tour i've ever gotten.

AND while in dc, in addition to seeing all the wicked cool airplane stuff in the air and space museum like pictures of f-14s, an f-2 fighter, the spirit of st. louis, and the apollo spacecraft, i saw a mounted policeman!!!! it was so exciting, and his horse was awesome. *melt* i hope i didn't make it blatantly obvious that i was staring at him for like ten minutes... :0P

there were also lots of pigeons!!!! i have a thing for pigeons. they're awesome.

and today i have work and a chem lab report to do! crikey i'm excited.
